Beth VanNess has resided in the Town of Becket
for over 30 years. In 1998 she left her position
as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
of BCARC in Pittsfield to pursue a career in
Real Estate. She started as a Realtor with
Century 21, where she was a Top Producer for
three consecutive years. In 2001 Beth purchased
Gile Real Estate and was the Broker/owner for a
number of years. She is currently a Broker
Associate with Southern Berkshire Realty, where
she has partnered with Susan Deacon, another
former Century 21 Top Producer, working together
as Gile Real Estate @ Southern Berkshire Realty.
Beth holds many real estate certifications
including GRI, ABR, CBR, CRS, and GREEN, her
extensive training and experience helping her to
provide quality service to her clients.
Beth is intimately involved in her community,
having served on the Becket Planning Board and
ZBA. In addition, she has served on many
committees, including Becket Zoning By-Laws
Review Committee, Large Wind Turbine Committee,
Town Administrator Selection Committee,
Berkshire Regional Planning Commission GREEN
Committee, Berkshire Regional Planning
Commission Travel Advisory Group, in addition to
many other committees. Beth has also served
Becket as a volunteer Emergency Medical
Technician.
Her volunteerism has continued, she is currently
very involved in Emergency Management, acting as
a Team Leader with Berkshire County MRC (Medical
Reserve Corp), a member of DART (Disaster Animal
Response Team), CMDART (Central Mass Animal
Response Team), SMART (State of Mass Animal
Response Team), and All Hands Volunteers, where
she just returned from deployment in the
Catskills assisting in disaster recover after
Hurricane Irene. She belongs to Animal Dreams
which is a Feral Cat, capture, spay/neuter and
release group. |
